Recently, observant residents of the park have noticed a group of people, some holding precision instruments to measure and record in various factories and residential areas of the park, while others distribute brochures to passing residents and invite them to fill out survey questionnaires. Their real identities are the second national pollution source census officers selected from Wancho Environmental Protection. The main purpose of this survey is to obtain basic information on various types of pollution sources, understand the quantity and distribution of pollution sources, which is of great significance for accurately judging the current environmental situation in China, formulating and implementing targeted economic and social development and environmental protection policies and plans.
The national survey of pollution sources is a significant national survey and a fundamental task for environmental protection. According to the second national pollution source survey plan, third-party service agencies will be introduced to participate in this survey. As a professional, capable, and responsible third party, Wancho Environmental Protection has become the entrusted third-party unit for the second national pollution source survey of the Su Ma Park with absolute comprehensive strength.
At present, the census work has been fully carried out. Professional and technical personnel from Wancho Environmental Protection are conducting visits and investigations on industrial pollution sources, agricultural pollution sources, domestic pollution sources, centralized pollution control facilities, mobile sources, and other facilities that generate and discharge pollutants in the park. Based on the on-site situation, they truthfully fill in the data and report it to the Second National Pollution Source Census Office of Suma Park. They also assist the census office in establishing and improving various pollution source archives to jointly complete the census task.
It is reported that this census will continue until the end of 2019.
