On the afternoon of April 8, 2022, Vice Mayor Li Jianqiang of Weinan Municipal Government conducted a survey on the construction of the expansion project (Second Sewage Treatment Plant) of the sewage treatment plant in Huazhou District, Weinan City, undertaken by Wancho Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. Huazhou District Mayor Gao Botao, Deputy Mayor Liu Gang, Director of the District Housing and Urban Rural Development Bureau Wang Feng, Deputy Director Guo Yu and other leaders accompanied the investigation.

At the construction site, Li Jianqiang and his delegation conducted an on-site inspection of the construction status of the sewage treatment plant project, gaining a detailed understanding of the project scale, operation mode, sewage treatment process, management and maintenance, and supporting sewage pipeline network. They also listened to the work report of the construction unit leader on the project construction. After listening to the work report, Li Jianqiang highly affirmed the construction status, progress, and safety guarantee of the project. He pointed out that sewage treatment facilities are a fundamental work related to people's livelihood, and we need to increase the construction progress of the project, plan from a high starting point, implement with high standards, and promote with high efficiency to ensure that the sewage treatment plant can be put into operation as soon as possible.

Finally, Li Jianqiang stated that we must strictly adhere to the safety bottom line. The construction of sewage treatment plants is an important livelihood project and a key facility for environmental protection and governance in our city. The normal operation of sewage treatment plants plays a positive role in improving the environment, water resource recycling, energy conservation and emission reduction.
