To deeply learn from the lessons of several recent limited space poisoning and suffocation accidents in the province, strengthen the safety management of limited space operations in the company, prevent the occurrence of suffocation and other safety production accidents caused by toxic and harmful gases under high temperature conditions, effectively protect the life safety of operators, and implement various safety production measures. On July 23rd, the Wancho Environmental Protection Pipeline Department conducted an emergency drill for confined space accidents, simulating the rapid and effective on-site rescue after a sudden accident, minimizing casualties, and controlling the expansion of the accident. The urban management bureau of the park provided on-site guidance and observed the drill.

This drill is set against the backdrop of dredging operations underground in pipeline networks, simulating a worker suffocation accident during underground construction due to high concentrations of harmful gases. At the scene of the accident, the exercise team immediately reported the accident situation and activated the emergency plan to carry out the process of emergency rescue. The drill personnel wear safety equipment and devices to gradually complete on-site rescue, emergency rescue, and on-site security maintenance steps. With the joint cooperation of on-site personnel, the 'injured' received effective treatment and the accident was effectively handled. All the participants were frontline workers, and the entire scene was tense, orderly, and efficient in carrying out rescue operations, truly demonstrating the actual situation of the accident.

Through this drill, employees' attention to confined space operations and emergency response capabilities have been enhanced, providing valuable experience for emergency response to confined space safety accidents.
