From August 10th to 11th, at the invitation of Wancho Environmental Protection Co., Ltd., four professors from the School of Resource and Environmental Protection of Hefei University of Technology were sent to Wancho for special training. Nearly 50 people from the company headquarters and various subsidiaries participated in the training.

The training is divided into four half day sessions, with each professor training for half a day. The training contents mainly include: generation and control of foam in activated sludge process, process structure and operation characteristics of biological aerated filter (BAF), sludge bulking phenomenon and its control, some important problems in the design and operation of activated sludge process system, and diagnosis of activated sludge microflora. Unlike regular training, the topics and content of this training are determined by company employees. Frontline personnel gather and summarize the difficulties encountered in daily production to the company headquarters, set training topics, and submit them to Hefei University of Technology. Professors from Hefei University of Technology use this as a platform for specialized lesson preparation, organizing employees for specialized learning, answering questions and clarifying doubts, and improving their professional skills. During the training, the professors combined theory with practice, interspersed classic cases, which were vivid and in line with production reality, and received unanimous praise from the trainees.

This training is an important part of the industry university research cooperation between Wancho and the School of Resource Environment at Hefei University of Technology. It fully utilizes the talent and research resources of universities to "charge" enterprises, improve their "soft power" for development, and make due contributions to solving major environmental problems in the country.
